The
riad has been beautifully restored with comfortable bedrooms, and
traditional salon positioned around the
central courtyard which is decorated with ornate zellij tile
work and furnished with giant salon doors beautifully hand carved
from cedar wood and hand painted by local artisans. The courtyard is
the perfect place to relax and enjoy a mint tea after exploring the
many alleyways of the medina.
All
bedrooms are en-suite and are well furnished with local handmade
furniture and good quality comfortable European sized beds. We
can offer double rooms-twins-triples and dorm style bedrooms to meet
all your needs, all have en-suite, and some come with
air-conditioning.

| Or you may wish to hire the entire riad which
would sleep up to 12 people. All served with a traditional Morrocan
breakfast which can be taken in your room, the courtyard or you may
wish to be served on the comfortable roof terrace and enjoy the
stunning views of the medina and surrounding mountainside.
Traditional
evening and lunch meals can be arranged with a days notice, and a
good selection of wine and beer are available along with a selection
of hot and cold drinks for your enjoyment |

The
Riad situated only a few minutes walk from Bab Boujaloud the
beautiful blue gates and the main entrance to what is the
oldest medina in the world , the guest house is also well positioned
for those wishing to bring their cars. The car park of Ain azliten
is conveniently positioned only minutes from the house and just off
one of the main arteries of the medina Tala’a kebira.
Fes
the oldest and largest medieval medina in the world
with its ten thousand plus alley ways is a must for anyone
visiting Morocco. This beautiful historic walled city which has now
been classed a world heritage site by Unesco is now undergoing
the restoration to many of its Monuments, Palaces and Riads. The
funding mainly coming from outside investors.

The
medina is bursting to its outer walls with sites of interest to
explore, from the oldest university in the world to the 1,200 yr old
Qarawiyn Mosqueand or just lose yourself and explore the alleyways
with its heady aroma from the many cafés and food stalls and the
artisans peddling their wares from hundreds and hundreds of
colourful stalls, selling anything from amazing carpets to stalls
specializing in the famous Fes pottery and spices of all types and
colours, pickles, fruit, fresh fish and meat stalls.
